Every day life is always happening, but in the midst of your to-dos are sparks … moments that make you pause. You could be mopping the kitchen floor or taking out the trash or showering and suddenly … a flash comes to your mind.
Some people describe it as a light bulb coming on or an “ah-ha” experience. But you know, without doubt, you see an idea … you hear an idea. In those minutes, one thought leads to another and to another, and it spider webs almost effortlessly. And as it goes and goes, you feel in your chest a different kind of heartbeat … a new kind of weight, not a lifeless burden, but a vision. You have only been with this spark for mere moments, but you care deeply, intensely, urgently about what you see, about what you hear.
In your heart, you are inspired … you are now carrying a passion … given to you by Our Father God by His Holy Spirit … the Holy Ghost…
But there is a spirit in man,and the inspiration of the Almightygiveth them understanding.Job 32:8 KJV (emphasis added)
Every scripture is inspired by Godand is useful for teaching, for showing mistakes, for correcting, and for training character.2 Timothy 3:16 CEB (emphasis added)
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.
For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
For what man knows the things of a man
except the spirit of the man which is in him?
Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
but the Spirit who is from God,
that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches
but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1 Corinthians 2:19-13 NKJV (emphasis added)
Most important, you must know
that no prophecy of scripture represents the prophet’s own understanding of things,
because no prophecy ever came by human will.
Instead, men and women led by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
2 Peter 1:20-21 CEB (emphasis added)
Those sparks come from the Holy Spirit also called the Holy Ghost. He is the One speaking to you, showing you, and inspiring you to write your book. He has done this since the foundation of the world … and He will continue to inspire, to lead, to guide, to show, to tell.
Review the last scripture, and apply it to your book writing:
… because no book idea ever came by human will.
Instead, men and women led by the Holy Ghost WROTE from God.
You are a man or woman of God led by the Holy Ghost, inspired by Him with a divine book idea. You experienced that spark in the middle of your every day life, and now, there will be changes. Reconnect with that heavenly spark.
Begin to pray in other tongues, and ask the Holy Ghost, the Reminder, to bring it back to your remembrance. Ask Him to show you the people, the purpose, the position of your book in God’s holy plan. In those answers, lies your book writing passion.
